International Olympic Committee

IOC

Since its establishment in 1894, the International Olympic Committee (IOC) has acted as the oversight body for the Olympic Games. The IOC is a non-profit organization with the future of sports in mind. Ninety percent of the Committee's revenue is distributed to the sporting movement.

The IOC’s mission is to promote worldwide Olympism. Its vision is “Building a better world through sport.” The foundation of Olympism has been built on its core values of excellence, respect, and friendship, with a focus on integrity and clean athletes.

The IOC is designed for delegates of all experience levels. Position papers are not mandatory for this committee, but must be completed in order to be considered for an award.

Please email any committee-related questions and submit position papers to ioc-js@vymun.org.
