KEYNOTE SPEAKER

Major Keir Calvert joined the Canadian Armed Forces in 2012 as an army infantry officer. He deployed on several domestic and overseas operations including Op LENTUS in 2017, Op LASER in 2020, and Op UNIFIER in 2025. Major Calvert is a graduate of the Canadian Army Command & Staff College. He is a recipient of the Canadian Joint Operations Commander’s Commendation. Major Calvert is also a recipient of two medals for meritorious service, one from the Ukrainian Ministry of Defence and the other from the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. He is currently the Officer Commanding of Headquarters & Services Company, Seaforth Highlanders of Canada.
