During the recent W.H.O (World Health Organisation) conference, delegates representing the international community had all expressed regrets towards climate change and called for measures to counter this effect.
During the conference, several countries, such as Switzerland, called for international co-operation in the fight towards suppressing climate change, which all gained significant popularity among the conference’s members, some of whom offered support towards others, while others of whom such as Serbia claimed that it was “Begging for fellow countries to donate to us”.
Despite all parties agreeing on the unfortunate results of this crisis, not all are satisfied with the current solution. Interestingly, the Democratic People’s Republic of Korea (North Korea) deliberately urged smaller countries to rebel against climate injustices from larger countries, who claimed that “They’re the ones at fault” and that “We have to stop drowning in YOUR pollution”, which gained support from several other nations. However, this claim faced major resistance from Russia - the largest country in the world, who called out North Korea’s mistreatments of their citizens after North Korea had put blame on the Russian - Ukrainian War. Later, several other delegates also participated in the conflict in support of pointing the blame towards Russia, with notable statements from Serbia also protesting Russia using it as a “coal dump”.
By the end of the commission, many vocal delegates such as North Korea failed to reach a conclusion on which nation is to blame. However, a clear message that agrees in joint efforts countering climate change was delivered by most delegates.
