Diverse suggestions regarding reforms towards PMCs (Private Military Companies) are contributed by many sides of the international community as joint desires in improving policies towards PMCs are discussed.

During the first committee session of DISEC (Disarmament & International Security Committee), international delegates put forth diverse suggestions concerning reforms towards PMCs. What is more, these motions range from Bangladesh questioning PMCs’ reasons to exist as a whole to the more popular suggestion to plan moderate reforms towards PMCs.

A popular proposal was mentioned by the representative of Syria, who urges for a strict general regulation of PMCs, while still maintaining the recognition of diverse conditions that each party in the international community has. This bloc was later backed and praised by several other nations when feedback relating Syria’s suggestion was requested.

With the exception of a conflict that occured when Israel urged Russia to solve its own PMC issues before having a concern on international matters revolving around the topic, a general consensus was reached in the international community: To put forth flexible yet detailed regulations upon domestic PMCs around the world.
