Hen-Hen Cult causes British and American Colonists to forget bankruptcy and oppressing taxation.
13 years after the Indian and French war, the “shot heard round the world” has started a revolution. Colonists watch in horror as American patriots are slaughtered mercilessly. Extreme taxation had been implemented all the way down to the sugar put in tea. Covert meetings begin to take place underground as the “Virginia House of Burgesses’’ debates the common issue of “what truly is “America””? A revolution is in question as tensions mount between the colonists and the British. It is in question if the British are able to suppress the rise of a revolution.
Britain’s dwindling economy due to the aftereffects of the Indian and French war put the country in a particularly difficult situation. To counterattack bankruptcy, the country has been passing many new taxation laws on the American Colonists in an attempt to refuel their economy.
The British and Americans debate over the oppression of taxation, as the Americans put it. King George III addresses the British, “The Royal Army previously protected their colonies before and they should have a responsibility to pay back to the government. They refused to do that, they're rising against Us, saying We were oppressing them just because We want those to fulfill their basic responsibility. I say this is wrong and the only way We can support the Empire is through taxes and maybe some help with Germany.”
As the Americans begin to rebel, striking back against their increasing taxations, King George III refutes their threats saying, “The fact that We can be brought down by few little colonies is actually insulting to Our great Empire and the Crown. I say that We are the great Empire already super powerful in the world. We have enough military and the Navy too actually, that's most renowned in the world actually. Stop These Americans!”
While King George III is in denial as to his diminishing funds, Thomas Gage steps forward and addresses him, “King George, I should remind you that currently we are broke, and we don't have the funding to send them more expeditions, to further send the military to the American colonies. What I propose right now is that we get more support from other European powers that are in support of the American colonies, we should use our leverage to turn them against the Americans.”
The discussion continues as General William Howe is saying, “A petition not long ago, just a couple of months, has been sent to King George saying that none can profit by the continuance of this war. By the continuance of this conflict of the Americans. Why? Because we are unable to fund our economies. I urge King George to understand that if we are to continue military suppression, we will simply be escalating this conflict to a point where we are unable to help our citizens economically.”
A turn of events occurs as an American Colonist arrives and joins the discussion, “I've come to represent our 13 colonies of America and the oppression that you have based on us. You have pushed these people too far! We have gotten to our Breaking Point! We request that you evacuate out of our city and in end that you respect our autonomy. We respect our autonomy as our own separate nation and we wish that further conflict isn’t pushed, but if conflict does arise, know that we will push back! And we will fight back, just like how we did at Lexington. Just like how we did at Concord, and just like how we did at Bunker Hill. We are prepared to fight! Also why did you guys blow up New York? That was very mean why - why would you blow up New York?” This News Paper strongly shares this question.
A new hope for fixing the British economy arrives, as yet another turn of events occurs as a Canadian representative appears saying, “We support the British. We have a plethora, A PLETHORA! of Canadian resources including wood for making boats. Fish for eating. And also oil, however, the most important at hand.” Then the Canadian delegate holds up a drawing of a cross asking, “What is this?”, and shoving it in the delegates’ faces. After they say it’s a cross, the Canadian Representative begins to ask if the delegates follow the Holy Cross. After one of the delegates says no, the Canadian Representative screeches “Shame on you. SHAME!” and storms out slamming the door.
Constant rumination over of how Britain holds the most powerful army while falling to bankruptcy plagues the discussion. Many go back and forth bringing attention to the power they hold. The valiant American Representative argues that their taxes are the only reason Britain hasn’t collapsed. Britain argues that the American colonies are on their land and were previously funded during the French-Indian war.
The conversation takes a strange twist as the American representative, Patrick Henry, is suddenly accused of burning a bible in church! The British delegates agree that not being a devoted Christian is a crime worthy of execution. Although this charge is later cleared, as it was confirmed he never burned the bible, rather he was just seen in the church supposedly praying. Even so, a cult based off Patrick Henry called the “Hen-Hen cult” was responsible for killing a British representative, which leads King George III to put forth a motion to hold him hostage until amends have been made.
Patrick Henry attempts to diffuse the situation saying, “I do not believe that it would be just to keep me here for the actions of another man. I do not punish you King George. I did not punish any of you other generals for the actions that were taken that day at Boston when you fired into our crowd. I do not take out my anger on you over the Sugar Acts that I was so vocal against. I do not take out my anger by trying to kidnap hostage Lord Dunmore after he stole The Virginian Reserve gunpowder and many of our artillery pieces. So why do you all of a sudden believe it is just to keep me here, after a man that I have no relation to who only believes in my cult, which several of your own followers are in part of, would be a direct representation of me?”
As General Thomas Gage refutes this saying he has no rights in Britain, Patrick Henry attempts to ask for a trial which was quickly rejected, due to him having no rights.
An American murderer and member of the “Hen-Hen cult” appears saying, “I do it for you guys you see all these British scums they don't deserve to have their control and to ridicule us.” It is questionable if his words justify murder although he continues saying, “I kill anyone in jail because I only kill people that are destructive to the American people. King George III you of all people should know,” the cult member finishes before leaving the room.
Many discourteous posters of King George III were posted all around Canada, depicting crude images of the King, “There are disgraceful posters of Me all around Canada. I am a kind King, who everyone including these Canadians should be loving as well, I propose that Canadians and Americans, everyone should be loving! Because I am such a kind individual who's so so generous to everyone.” King George takes great offence to this act unable to understand why such coarseness is being done against someone as kind as Himself, so he puts it. Although, despite these dramatic hate crimes, King George III still believes it is best to have Canada on the British’s side… for all that, that seems much more difficult to achieve than he gives credit to, considering crude posters of him are hung all around the country.
A different Canadian representative then appears stating, “You know, while I support the US right now, because we've got a pretty little strong bond, I'll be able to take a couple of bribes…”
The American representative Patrick Henry jumps to reply, “While we cannot bribe with the traditional monetary, we can offer to build a strong North American frontier which would be very beneficial for both our countries. If we can control an entire continent together, we will not be rulers, there will be no tyrants that control over us and our taxes. We can give you resources! We can give you support! We can give you education and other systems that you may need support on and we can work together to develop new technologies. That is what I think may benefit the American people. The British are raising your taxes to help them back home, not help us in our own colonies. I cannot speak on that myself because I am alone here in case you can’t tell, but if you wish I can send you to an alliance I do have with Washington and Thomas Jefferson at the Virginia Base Alliance.”
The British quickly refute his claim saying, “Don't listen to the shameful American that is alone by himself here. Because he will be executed soon! The Americans will take over your land if you're going to hold it all out yourself. The Americans will not be getting anything out of it except it would be exploiting you for their own needs. So how about you sign with us instead and we can provide you with money.” Which is quite questionable considering this is coming from the British.
Naturally, the bribe of money catches the Canadian representative’s attention as he says, “Well I like the sound of that! But the list is a little bit longer for the United States and I don't know who has been seen burning a Bible.” This circles the conversation back over to bible burning and crimes against devoted Christians.
It seems all this committee has achieved are instigating cults that are murdering members. On that note, it has sadly been later learnt that our compatriet, Patrick Henry, did not infact survive the night…
